FAN ART | FANDOM
Fan art is where artists create arts of work based on copyrighted characters. It is illegal, and yet a gray area. Most fan art is an infringement of a copyright. But then again there is the fair use/educational doctrine.
If you want the real deal, check the back of the pin. For an example, if you are buying a Disney pin, it will have a Disney "back stamp" on the pin to prove it is a legit Disney item.
